When you have a website you want to get as many visitors to your site as you can possibly get. The way to get more visitors is through search engine optimization (SEO). In other words, you want to design your site for the search engines, so that people can find your site when they search for certain keywords. Here are 5 steps for designing your website for SEO.
SEO – Step 1: Know that Each Page Needs to be Optimized
The first step for search engine optimization is to always remember that each page of your site needs to be optimized. Each page is treated individually by the search engines. So make sure you apply the necessary SEO tactics to each and every page.SEO – Step 2: Pick Keywords and Phrases for Each Page
The next step for designing your website for SEO is to carefully choose the best keywords and phrases for each page. You want the keywords and the phrases to match-up with the topics covered on each page.
SEO – Step 3: Come-Up with a Solid Title
You also want to carefully come-up with a solid title for each page. The title should include the important keywords and phrases. This is very important for search engine optimization.
SEO – Step 4: Place the Keywords in the Title Tag, Meta Keywords, and Meta Description
Another important step for search engine optimization is to place keywords in the title tag, the meta keywords, and the meta description. This is an important step that you can’t forget to do. It will help the search engines find your pages and rank your pages for the important keywords and phrases.
SEO – Step 5: Repeat the Keywords throughout the Copy on Each page
The final step for designing your website for SEO is to repeat the targeted keywords through the copy on each page. You want to use the keywords a few times in the copy. However, you don’t want to use the keywords too much. This will make your copy unpleasant to be read, and it might also cause the search engines to punish your search engine ranking or completely stop ranking your website.
There you have the 5 steps for designing your website for search engine optimization. Make sure you carefully consider which words and phrases are the most important for your site and for each page within your site. Then include the keywords in the title, the tags and the meta descriptions, and throughout the copy on each page. If you do these things then you will rank well with the search engines and you will get more visitors to your site.

Hi Ya Mandy!
Good to hear from you. I was wondering what was going on with you as you seemed to drop off the map for a bit.
I talked to Steve King earlier in the week and we caught up a bit. He told me ya’ll got together and that your mom had been ill for a time. You really had a rough year and I hope that the new year will be brighter for you.
We finally close on our house in Harrison, Arkansas. I started painting and put in a culvert under the driveway at the end of November. I still have a lot of things I want to do to the place before we move permanently. We are trying to get out there sometime next year. In the mean time I’ll be making trips to do work then come back to Virginia and do more work here, then up to my folks in Minnesota and do work up there…this retirement is harder work than when I was working. lol
