The Basics of SEO
If you’re involved in Internet Marketing then you’ve probably heard the term “SEO” used quite a bit. SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimization.” It means content that is created to rank well with the search engines when a specific keyword phrase is searched for. The more SEO you have the more traffic you will get to your site.
When you are learning the basics of SEO you’ll need to find out what keywords or keyword phrases are popular for your niche. Once you identify your keywords and keyword phrases then you want to target them with your content. So you will sprinkle the words throughout whatever it is your writing. If you’re writing an article then you would put the keywords in the title and throughout the body of the article. You’ll want the keywords to appear several times in the article.
The exact formula search engines use to rank search results isn’t know. However, they definitely do use keywords. They also use quality of the content. So, make sure you always provide quality whenever you create online content. Content is key in search engine optimization.
The basics of SEO are creating content that will rank well with the search engines. You want to make sure that everything you create is SEO friendly. Otherwise your site won’t be ranked high with the search engines. So always make that you keep SEO in mind when you create content for your website.

Hi there, you have offered some great advice about SEO here and I will always try to bear this in mind when I am writing articles, blog posts etc. It is so easy to just get carried away with writing a good article and forgetting about the search engines. Thank you for sharing this with me. Regards Sue.
Hi Jay,
Great advice on making content ”Search Engine Optimised”. It is indeed so important to use relative targted keywords that the SE spiders can crawl and pick up on.
Valuable content is also another must as you mentioned, if you use PLR, revamp it and make it unique otherwise the search engines may bypass it.
Thanks again guys!

Hi Steve,
Glad you stopped by. PLR material can sometimes be of good use but all should be warned that not all PLR material is good content. Some has been rehashed many times over and loses the quality. So if anyone is using PLR material be sure you know your supplier, review it very carefully and change it so that YOU are satisfied with the content. After all this now becomes content that you are supplying to your followers.
By the way folks, Steve has GREAT PLR information. He is one of the guys you can trust.
