My Poor Car
It’s been a rough couple of weeks for my car. Last week I had to take my car into the shop because it didn’t have any power. I took it to the repair shop and they said that mice ate the wires to several of the fuel injectors. Later on that week the check engine light came on again and the car wasn’t running well again and I discovered that a mouse ate one of the coil wires so it was down a cylinder. The repair shop found the mouse nest and got rid of it so hopefully that will keep them out of my car engine. I guess the mice like to have a mobile home. The repair bill was over $400. I checked to see if my insurance company would cover this and was quite surprised when they did. They covered the whole repair bill which was great. I love animals but these mice have really pissed me off. My husband bought some Critter Out and sprayed that all over the engine and tires and underneath the car. I also got an orange and white barn cat from the shelter which I brought home today. He’s been an outdoor tom cat for many years but he was recently neutered. He is fairly friendly which is shocking since he’s spent his whole life outside. I don’t know if he’s going to be much help because he’s curled up in the house that we made for him just sitting there and watching everybody pass by. I hope he becomes more active tomorrow and comes out of his nice warm house. I also have another barn cat coming to my house and I was told that he is quite mean and he can’t be handled or he’ll swat you.
