Everything is going well here. I’ve been putting content together for my new membership site (still building it) http://makingmoneyontheinter.net and I’m also busy puting products together to give away and for upsales in my marketing funnel. I am also starting to work with Mandy Allen and Rob Corrigan on the John Thornhill Fan Club (JTFC) site.
I need to get back on the JTMC Forum and check things out. I haven’t been on there for about a week.

Good post Jay, I’m a few giant steps away from starting an affiliate program but it’s becoming more interesting the closer I get to finishing my own products. I also like the idea of becoming a Clickbank vendor, in which case the affiliate program is already built into their platform. All the best, Steve D.

Affiliate Marketing is a reliable way to get recurring income if you set things up the right way with the right products. Be careful to promote products that provide great content and that you have used and believe in.
Remember people will remember YOU by how satisfied they are with your promoted products.
TIP: Most marketers will provide their product if you are serious about promoting it and request it. That way you can promote the product utilizing first hand experience. If you don’t like the product, be sure you repspond to the marketer with the precise reasons. This shows the marketer that you are a serious marketer and will provide feed back to them so they can improve thier product.

Just in the last six months have I realized the importance of an affiliate program. If we go through all the trouble of creating a product…it is only our loss if we don’t take advantage of the affiliate army that is waiting to promote for us.
Creating great affiliate programs…giving them attention and the tools they need will only help us in the end.

Yes. So many things to keep track of. I think I’m going to do a checklist to give out to new marketers to help them understand all the things they need to keep up to have a viable business.
It is so important to have affiliates working to promote your products. But conversely it is just as important to promote others products to build business relationships for future endeavors.

Thanks for stopping by. I enjoyed John’s class and I did learn a lot need to know things about the whole process. As far as I know JOhn has the only class that actually teaches you how to create a product. Like you I have promoted products created by others but never attempted creating my own.
I also learned alternative ways of doing the technical stuff on the websites. Many ways to accomplish all the things in internet marketing.
